Sinusitis can be acute (short term) or chronic (3 months or more) and can occur as a result of colds, flu, hayfever, allergies or other factors. Even regular use of medicated nasal decongestants can trigger it.
If your doctor has diagnosed you with sinusitis, you may be prescribed medication. What if my sinusitis is chronic?
